Brightlands Chemelot Campus is the first European Circular Hub which boosts innovation and business growth by giving tenants access to talent, knowledge, infrastructure and entrepreneurship. This enables the vibrant community for performance materials, sustainable processes and biomedical solutions to create solutions to the global challenges in the world and support sustainable living. The Chemelot Campus is constantly evolving. It, together with Chemelot Industrial Park, forms one of the largest research and industrial sites in Europe.
With over 107 companies situated in it, the Chemelot Campus is a breeding ground for innovations in performance materials, biomedical solutions and sustainable processes at lab-, pilot- and demo-scales. Examples of sustainable chemistry include the production of chemical building blocks from biobased materials or the electrical cracking of materials from plastic pyrolysis to produce monomers. Companies located in the campus include Avantium, Chemelot Innovation and Learning Labs (CHILL), Coolbrooks, Ioniqa, Torrcoal, and many more. During the site visit, conference participants will be able to obtain an overview of Brightlands Chemelot Campus as well as site visits to lab/pilot/demo facilities of selected companies and interactions with their experts.
