Guidelines

Abstract Submission and Template:

  • Each poster or presentation requires the submission of an abstract in order to be considered for acceptance.
  • All abstracts submitted to the conference organizing office should be based on the template provided on this page. Abstracts not meeting the standard will be either rejected or returned to the author requesting corrections.

Abstract Submission Template (*.doc)

  • Abstracts should not exceed 350 words.
  • All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book which will be distributed to all conference participants. 

Author(s) of abstracts accepted for presentations/posters have to register for the conference by 23 May 2025. Abstracts will only be included in the conference program after one of the authors has successfully registered for the conference.

Please also send us a passport photograph for the conference website as well as a short biography for your introduction by the session chairman.

Presentation/ Speaker Guidelines:

  • The conference language is English.
  • Power point presentations have to be uploaded onto the conference laptops latest during the break before the session in which you are making your presentation. Please bring your presentation with you on a USB flash drive and approach our technical assistants at the conference to assist you in the upload.
  • When preparing your presentation, please take into account that you will be required to use the conference laptops for your presentation (avoid uncommon font styles, colours etc. that might not work on computers other than your own).
  • It is recommended to use SI units to facilitate general understanding.
  • Each speaker will have 15 minutes for his/her presentation and 5 minutes to answer questions from the audience.
  • Due to the limited presentation time, please do not present general overviews that are well-known and are a prerequisite for conference attendees.
  • Presentations will be published in pdf format after the conference on our website archive (ISSN 2363-8702).
  • Each presenter is requested to check-in with the session chair approximately 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session.

Poster Guidelines:

  • The conference language is English.
  • It is recommended to use SI units to facilitate general understanding
  • The posters will be mounted on pin boards with the following dimensions: approximately height 144 cm and width 117 cm. Please provide the poster in the DIN A0-format: 84,1 x 118,9 cm.
  • Pin boards will be provided by the conference organizers.
  • Posters do not need to be submitted prior the conference. Please bring a high quality print out on the first conference day.
  • The poster display area will be open from Tuesday 9:00 am till Thursday 4:00 pm.
  • If you are interested in publishing your poster on our website archive after the conference (ISSN 2363-8702), please submit the finalized version as pdf-file by 30 September 2025 to the conference office.
