Guidelines

Abstract Submission and Template:

  • Each poster or presentation requires the submission of an abstract in order to be considered for acceptance.
  • All abstracts submitted to the conference organizing office should be based on the template provided on this page. Abstracts not meeting the standard will be either rejected or returned to the author requesting corrections.

Author(s) of abstracts accepted for presentations/posters have to register for the conference by 15 June 2025. Abstracts will only be included in the conference program after one of the authors has successfully registered for the conference.

Please also send us a passport photograph for the conference website as well as a short biography for your introduction by the session chairman.

Presentation/ Speaker Guidelines:

  • The conference language is English. It is recommended to use SI units to facilitate general understanding.
  • Power point presentations have to be uploaded onto the conference laptops latest during the break before the session in which you are making your presentation. Please bring your presentation with you on a USB flash drive and approach our technical assistants at the conference to assist you in the upload.
  • When preparing your presentation, please take into account that you will be required to use the conference laptops for your presentation (avoid uncommon font styles, color’s etc. that might not work on computers other than your own).
  • Each speaker will have 15 minutes for his/her presentation and 5 minutes to answer questions from the audience.
  • Due to the limited presentation time, please do not present general overviews that are well-known and are a prerequisite for conference attendees.
  • Each presenter is requested to check-in with the session chair approximately 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session.
  • Abstracts will be published in the Program App which will be available for all participants at the conference. Authors can revise their abstracts at any time before the start of the conference and upload an updated version to the Abstract Submission Portal. Please revise your abstract according to theabstract template. Please be aware that the abstract should not exceed 350 words.
  • We kindly ask you to fill in the Presenter Introduction for the announcement of your presentation by the session chair and send it back to us.
  • If you are interested in publishing your presentation on our website archive after the conference (ISSN 2363-8702), please submit the finalized version as pdf-file by 30 September 2025 to the conference office.

Poster Guidelines:

  • The conference language is English. It is recommended to use SI units to facilitate general understanding.
  • Pin boards will be provided by the conference organizers. The posters will be mounted on pin boards with the following dimensions: approximately height 144 cm and width 117 cm. Please provide the poster in the DIN A0-format: 841 x 1189 mm. Please bring a high-quality print out and submit it to the conference organization team on the first conference day when you register on site (no digital submission before the conference required). Alternatively, the conference organizer provides a printing service for which submission of a digital, print-ready version of the poster in pdf format is required until 06 September 2025.
  • The poster display area will be open from Tuesday, 24 September, 9:00 am till Thursday, 26 September, 4:00 pm.Please be available at your poster during the coffee breaks. On Wednesday, 25 September, poster presenters will have the opportunity to present and discuss their results with conference participants in an interactive poster session.
